Translation
You have two ways to read a game in your language.
The game's own languages
Section titled “The game's own languages”Many games ship with translations made by their creators. On the game's page in the Library, tap Translation to open the Language sheet and choose one. These have the best quality when your language is on the list.
Translate on your device
Section titled “Translate on your device”Ren'Go can translate through Apple's Translation framework. The translation runs entirely on your device, right inside the dialogue box and the choice menus.
- On the game's page in the Library, tap Translation to open the Language sheet.
- Turn on the on-device translation switch. The switch is called "Translate on this iPhone" on every device.
- Pick the language to translate into.
- Leave "Translate choices" on if you want the choice menus translated too.
Changes apply the next time you play. Machine translation can be wrong, so use the game's own translation when there is one.
Ren'Go includes fonts for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Cyrillic, Greek, Vietnamese and Arabic text, so translated lines never show empty boxes.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”Ren'Go doesn't send the text of a game anywhere to translate it.
